Coronation Foursomes
There were 6 pairs of ladies entered in the competition - the low turnout a result of the call of the wild (walking) and the call of Spain (golfing allegedly). Two groups of ladies were away so our numbers were down.
The bluebells are having a spectacular year... cue lots of bluebell pictures!
They even withstand the mower to brighten up on the fourth - simply beautiful.
Conditions for playing today were good - there was very little wind and the cloudy cool start turned into a sunny finish. Jumpers and jackets were on and off...but altogether no complaints!
In second place with 32 points were Captain Di and Jane L, and in first place were Hilary and Sue D with 34 points. This means they can go on to represent us at the regional final at Weston super mare - good luck!
