Thursday 22nd March

Fifteen Fabulous Ladies played today... it was far colder than it looked and conditions were certainly not easy. We wrapped ourselves in numerous layers and sallied forth!

However despite the cold, the ball was rolling well on the freshly mown fairways. Frieda's drive on the 10th flew past the bunker... mine went into it! That doesn't usually happen unless it's the summer!

Thanks to Mark and Chris cos the fairways were great and bunkers were well raked!

But those shots were as nothing compared to our Angie!  

She was awarded shot of the day for her drive on the 10th... her ball decided to use the wall to lift itself over the bunker and on to the green!!!

The results for today? 

Well... countback was the decider as usual!

In third pace with 14 points was Liz;

in second with 14 points was Frieda...

and our winner... also with 14 points was Sue D!

Well done all for playing ... thanks to Di for coming up and doing the cards with Fran (and for getting the Gliders for St Mellion) and it was also lovely to see Jean.

Saturday is an 11 hole roll up... and then Sunday is the start of our Away Days!
