What a beautiful day to play golf!

What a gorgeous day for Captain Sue's Invitation 'Cup Cake' Day!

Ten Pairs of ladies were able to compete today and conditions were perfect. The course is looking amazing, the greens were running well as were the fairways. Many thanks as always to Mark and his team for the condition of the course, and for help with putting out the straightest drive line.

The scores today were impressive! 

The winning team had 46 points - 5 pars and a birdie on the 9th!

The team in second had 43 points and also birdied the 9th!

Five teams came in within two shots of each other!

In third place with a lovely 41 points were Lindsay and Elsa Fraser - they had a run of 6 three-pointers in a row!  Great play!

In second place with that fabulous 43 were Jane and Jenny Storey who had one 4 pointer and 7 three pointers - super golf!

Our winning team with 8 three-pointers and 2 four-pointers were Frieda and Jean Anne - great play!

We had a Nearest the Pin in two competition on the 9th, and this was won by Frieda who was approximately 30 inches from the hole... and the straightest drive on the 10th was won by Elaine from Mullion just 10 inches from the rope!

Chris L and Judy organised a putting competition for after we had finished our round... and that was won by our President Lyn with 35 points!

There were delicious cupcakes to enjoy after we played and Sue raised £179 for her Charity.
