League match
Today saw us play our first league match - it was at home to West Cornwall.
The weather was not the most pleasant with a bit of a breeze and frequent light showers, but not too cold and a definite improvement from yesterday! It was good to see Fran (and Brian) who cheered us off on the first!

Last year we lost this match but there was a different result today with Cape ladies running out winners 6 - 1.

The Cape team was Frieda, Jane, Lyn, Fi, Sue D, Ruth and our team Captain Hils.
Well played everyone, and special congratulations to Frieda on playing her first league match ever!
Thanks to Hils for organising our matches this year; thanks to Mark for the condition of the course and for making sure all the bunkers had been raked, and thanks to Ashley and George for a very enjoyable meal.
