Done and dusted!

Thursday Fourth July

Yesterday late afternoon it was confirmed that Andy and Leanne are now the owners of Cape ...all done and dusted!

Welcome and we hope you have a successful time in this amazing place and hope you come to love it as much as we do.

Today we were blessed with unbroken blue sky and sunshine...

...conditions were perfect for golf and there were some fabulous scores returned!

There were 12 ladies who came to play and Di and I joined everyone afterwards to do the cards... and enjoy a lovely and tasty surprise!

Andy and Leanne arranged for us to have delicious sandwiches which was a lovely thought.

Scoring was interesting... there were lots of pars and 4 pointers!

The winning score was 21 by Frieda - this included a blob on the third - and a birdie on the 9th - she drove the green! 

What do you eat for breakfast Frieda - because we all want some?

Close behind was Lindsay who scored 20 points (also with a blob on the third) but also with six three-pointers!

Not to be left out was Sarah with 19 points, this included a four pointer on the 7th!

Outside the prizes but with good scores were Lyn and Lynne both with 18 points and Jenny and Pam with 17 points!

The course is looking great and the greens seem to be improving almost daily so many thanks as always to Mark and Chris.

Gary came to say thank you to the ladies for their support over the years.  He was thanked in return for what he has achieved; if he hadn't taken over the club when he did it would have closed and he has made many improvements to the structure of the place.
