Thursday 29th October
There were a fabulous ten of down to play today and the weather was fairly benign!
Everyone decided to play a qualifier and Lindsay entered all the cards after play, but our competition was sleeping partners!
So when everyone was in the cards were checked and the pairs drawn. It was a close run thing with Ann and Sue D in second with 31 points but in first were Sam and Frieda with 32!
It has to be said that Sam played a fabulous 9 holes which included 6 pars...five of them all in a row!
Well played all, it was fun and lovely to sit round and chat afterwards with our coffees/hot chocolates!
We talked about the planned winter league which we can enter as pairs of any combination as many times as we like over the month. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the month! This is open to everyone and any combination of pairs! November will be a betterball! Looking forward to seeing how this works out in practice.
