Friendly v West Cornwall
Friday saw a team from Cape wend their way to West Cornwall for a friendly.
The chosen format (as always for W.C.) was betterball matchplay.
The lowest handicap player in the group played off scratch and the everyone else played off 90 % of the difference between them... it is a challenging format - but you know what I think about that for a friendly...I won't go on!
The course was fast and furious... it was difficult to keep a ball on the fairway... or the green... and putting was well nigh impossible! Needless to say we lost.
However we gave it our best shot and we did stay dry!
