Catch up!

Catch up!

Spain, England Golf Trust and today

Apologies for the lack of blog for a week or so! Catching up now!

Firstly today's Stableford - conditions were great as the early morning fog lifted to give us a warm bright day with very little wind.

The course has improved no end over the last few weeks and it was looking absolutely beautiful.

There was some very good play too... this was Pam's long drive on the 11th - super play!

In the B group the winner was Angie with a lovely 18 points; this included three three pointers and two four pointers!

In the A group it was a close run thing. Lindsay was our winner with 18 points but she was followed by 4 ladies on 17! Pam, Liz, Judy and Jenny all had 17, with Jenny pipping Judy to second place.
There were then three more of us with 16 points!
What a close run thing!

Antoinette birdied the 11th hole and parred the 18th! I'd be delighted to start and finish like that!

Well done all.
We were delighted to hear from Di after we'd finished that her op was over and she was back in her room.

England Golf Trust

Saturday last was the England Golf Trust competition - this is a Stableford competition with the best Silver and Best bronze scores going through to represent the club.
The results are below, with Sue D and Chris James eligible to progress if their combined score is good enough to get through - watch this space!

And last but not least The Spanish Trip

I believe all such trips are underwritten by an unspoken rule... what happens away, stays away... so all I can report is that the trip was a great success and here are some pics to prove they went!!

The course looks amazing!

Looks amazing ladies!
