Polglase 1 Medal and Millennium Trophy

Polglase 1

Overcast skies and gusts of 40 mph greeted us at Cape today along with, (and to our complete surprise), a host of runners who were using Cape as their registration point for a run to St Ives!  Milling around in the car park and changing rooms were the runners... along with our fifteen ladies who came to compete in the medal.

The golf today was a real challenge - well done to all those who took part!

Well done to our winner Claire who came in with a Nett 77 - (there were never going to be low scores today).

In second place was Sue D with nett 78 and the rest of us followed some way behind... in fact we seemed to have been playing a different course!

Third was myself with a nett 85 followed by Sarah - who just pipped Hilary to fourth place on countback with nett 86.

We certainly knew we'd played today - we were exhausted (and hungry)!

It was great to have Fran play her first 18 holes for some time and it was good to see Jayne who popped in to say hello.
