Saturday 4th May

The answer my friends.......

Bob Dylan must have been to Cape and arranged the conditions for Saturdays of late. Anyway 16 of us set out to complete for the monthly medal along with the W.R.V.S Trophy. The customary strong winds faced us on some parts of the course whilst the sunshine and shelter made other holes more manageable and allowed some layers of clothing to be discarded..

Scores ranged over 19 points with three countbacks needed to separate scores. Sue D was fourth with nett 78, Frieda third with 77 while Di pipped Fiona on countback with both scoring 75.

Congratulations to Ruth on her efforts at the South West Regional medal event in Bridport. I expect she will relay more of this later.

A busy week faces us with a friendly against Falmouth on Wednesday, the County bronze meeting at Tehidy, where 12 of us will participate and then a coaching session with Jonathan, also at Tehidy for some on Friday. Good luck and the hope of good weather to all concerned.
