Invitation Day!

What an absolutely fabulous day for Captain's Sarah's first 'proper event'. 

There were 36 ladies competing today in a four ball betterball competition.

There were ladies from several different clubs including West Cornwall, Tehidy, Mullion and Crediton and what a lovely time we had.

The weather was so good we were able to sit outside and enjoy the buffet.

In third place were Chris J and Anne U with a score of 40 points.

In second place was Chris L and Sue H with 42 points and in first place were Dawn E from Tehidy and myself with 45 points!

All I can say is that whoever played with Dawn today would have won! It was a delight to watch such fabulous golf. She also won the nearest the pin in two on the 10th - with Jo Carter winning the longest drive on 8th just beating Sue D and Lindsay!

Huge thanks to Sarah for planning the day;  to her handsome ball spotters, Brian and Norman; to Di for doing the cards and the results and to the club for the food.
