Whilst these ladies were winning at west Cornwall, Lindsay, Sarah, Liz and I were having huge fun at Truro in Mo Hammond's RCH Charity Day. We didn't win anything but had huge fun...the format was so lovely... a four-ball with just two scores to count. Very enjoyable :-)
Aussie Spoons
7 Pairs of ladies played in the Aussie Spoons today, with two others having completed their rounds earlier in the week.
Conditions were lovely although the wind was swirling.
Foursomes always throws up some interesting shots... we find ourselves in different places, playing different shots.
In second place were Liz and Antoinette with a score of 34.
In first were Frieda and myself with a score of 37 (and that included 3 blobs!)
Well done everyone.
We are sending our love to Val G who had a very nasty fall on Thursday. She has a broken arm and cut leg. We're all hoping she has a speedy recovery.
