AGM and 11 holes

Ladies AGM 2019

Today was the Ladies AGM; hand-over day from Sue to Di.

There was a good turnout for the meeting which Lyn chaired for us. All our thanks to you Lyn for doing this and all the other (often behind-the-scenes) things you do for us as our Lady President!
Thank you!

Matters were dealt with quickly and efficiently and all was done and dusted by 10 o'clock. The New committee was elected and Di presented with the Captain's badge.

Lyn presented Sue with a gift and flowers from the ladies...(but she was too quick for me to get a picture!)
Many thanks to Sue for all her work over the year.
Sue expressed her thanks to the committee and all the ladies for their support throughout the year and was delighted to announce that £2000 had been raised for the Alzheimer's charity.

Di spoke warmly about our year ahead and thanked Hilary who has organised all the League matches for us this year. (Hilary asks us to sign up for these matches on the sheets on the notice board).

By about 10am we were signing up to go out and play 11 holes. There was a stiff wind blowing which brought with it occasional squally, drizzly showers. Well done to the 13 ladies who played.

The wonderful winner of the B group was Marion (just pipping Angie!) Well done!

In the A group Hilary was third with 18 points (including a birdie on 4 and several other chip-ins!)
In second place with 19 points was Jayne who parred the 2nd and the 6th; and our winner... most appropriately... was retiring captain Sue with a fabulous 22 points with pars on 2,4 6 and 11.

Well played Sue, and well done all!

PS

Below is a picture of Angie collecting the Par Trophy for handicaps over 36 - don't forget to record your pars at the back of the Eclectic folder...

...and you could be looking this happy next year!
Well done Angie!
