Saturday Stableford
The weather forecast for today was not good... but it suggested there would be a window during the morning to play some golf... so Di made the decision to play over just 9 holes in order to be back in before the worst of the weather struck.
It was an excellent decision!
Thirteen super-troupers played today and 13 was the winning score!
It was difficult to get pars... there were just 4. Fi parred the 3rd; Sue S parred 5 (with a chip in) and 6, and Di also parred the 5th - well done each!
But these pars were not enough to challenge for the lead.
We needed countback of course... with Lyn just pipping Antoinette to first place, both with 13 points.
In third was Angie with 12 points.
Following on behind were 3 ladies with 11 points... we do like sharing our scores.
Di mentioned the new Blue Tees and the confirmation that we have received the provisional Standard Scratch scores for the new tees. We're hoping to play from them next Thursday to see how they play and to help decide the stroke indices that they will need in the future.
Tomorrow is the New Captain's Scramble - fingers crossed for better weather!
